Welcome to the Department of Nutritional Sciences

The Department of Nutritional Sciences at the University of Toronto is one of only a few in North America situated in the Faculty of Medicine. Its activities include basic science, clinical and community aspects of nutrition. Our mission is to improve health through research, teaching, and leadership in human nutrition including basic nutritional sciences, and clinical, socio-cultural and community aspects of nutrition.
