2019 Food as Medicine Update: Hot Topics in Nutrition Through the Lifespan

We are delighted to invite you to the 2019 Food as Medicine Update: Hot topics in nutrition through the lifespan, to be held at the Li Ka Shing Knowledge Institute in Toronto on Tuesday, November 15, 2019 from 8:30am to 4:30pm.

The Food as Medicine Update series was created to address the knowledge-gap in continuing medical education related to the role of nutrition in patient care.  It is a full day symposium for healthcare professionals designed to address the emerging interest in therapeutic diets for chronic disease prevention.

A special feature of the 2019 Food as Medicine Update will be the Rundle-Lister Lectureship in Transformative Nutritional Medical Education, which will be awarded this year to Dr. Walter Willett, MD, DrPH in recognition of his outstanding contributions to translational research in the field of therapeutic diets and chronic disease prevention.
