Sara Mousavi receives the CNS Undergraduate Abstract Award!

Sara Musavi, Undergrduate student from the Department of Nutritional Sciences received the Canadian Nutrition Society (CNS) Undergraduate Abstract Award for 2025. This award is given for the highest ranked abstract submitted by an undergraduate student. This is the first ever undergraduate award to be presented by CNS. Sara is studying Physiology and Nutritional Sciences at the University of Toronto. She is passionate about scientific research and above all, the key role of nutrition in disease prevention and treatment. Currently she is researching the determinants of high ultra-processed food consumption in children, at the Miliku Lab. Her abstract was titled "Determinants of ultra-processed food consumption among Canadian preschool children."
