Abstract Submission Deadline for DNS Research Day
The Department of Nutritional Sciences is excited to be holding our first-ever DNS Research Day - as well as our annual Edna Park Lecture - on Thursday, October 20, 2022 from 11 AM – 7 PM at the Chestnut Conference Centre (89 Chestnut St, Toronto, ON; virtual attendance options will be available). This full-day event will showcase trainee research and feature invited speakers, including our annual Edna Park Lecture (itinerary attached). As such, we invite graduate students and postdoctoral fellows within the Temerty Faculty of Medicine to submit a nutrition-related abstract for oral or poster presentation at the event, using this link: https://forms.office.com/r/y0BkT36qEa
A few important things to note:
- Trainee attendance at Research Day and presentation of research is encouraged but not mandatory.
- There is no cost to submit an abstract or to attend Research Day; however, authors of accepted abstracts are expected to register for and to attend Research Day (11 AM – 5 PM; optional Edna Park Lecture to follow), and to be available to delegates during poster viewing periods.
- Presenters will not need to submit original, previously unpublished research (but can if they would like) and will be able to present recent posters.
- Please do not submit more than one abstract or multiple versions of the same abstract.
KEY DATES
Friday, September 2, 2022 - Abstract submission deadline.
Friday, September 16, 2022 - Notification of abstract review/acceptance and poster presentation instructions.
Friday, September 23, 2022 - Registration deadline (no cost to register).
Thursday, October 13, 2022 - Posters must be submitted to event coordinators (for virtual attendance purposes; instructions to be provided).
