NFS394Y/494Y Research Projects in Nutritional Sciences

2023-24

This course is suitable for 3rd and 4th year students with a strong academic background. These students will have minimum B+ average in their 2nd or 3rd year and have an interest in research. NFS394/494 will provide an exciting, challenging, and educationally rewarding experience to qualified students. With guidance from a faculty member, you will plan, execute and write a final report on an approved research project. You will gain experience in all aspects of research. You are encouraged to become familiar with the research activities and interests of core academic and cross-appointed faculty members. You must contact faculty members working in areas that interest you to discuss the faculty member’s availability for supervision and possible research topics. Information is available in the 2022-2023 syllabus.

Enrollment Requirements

Strong academic background (B+ average)
Courses in Nutrition and minimum prerequisite: NFS284H
Prior consent of the supervising faculty
Departmental Approval
